Just so people don't get too worried...the girls and I have safely made it to Kentucky. We enjoyed a FABULOUS dinner of BBQ tonight with Rich's Mom, Stepdad, Aunt & Uncle. I felt extremely welcomed to the family. :) I'm tired after driving bridges and two lane roads most of the day. I'll update on our Missouri trip when I catch a few moments tomorrow.

Now THAT's REAL BBQ. Remember, make sure my mom doesn't start telling stories. Once she gets started, you may never get out of there. If they are stories about me, I'm sure they aren't true! :)

Oh no! Which aunt and uncle? Some of them represent the true image of KY.
Mel
Margaret & Joe came over for dinner, and I met Maxine this morning.
I'm sure everything that comes out of "Grandma Chocolate's" mouth is the utter truth! :) I'll make sure and blog any interesting stories I hear! ~J
I don't even want to know what was said!!!!!!! Don't tell any other aunts or uncles (hopefully you won't meet anymore), but Aunt Margaret is my favorite.
thanks janell!
Big Sis ~ Your theme song should be "On the road agaiiiinnnn" by ummmm, Willie Nelson???

Love, Love, Love
I'm so glad all is still going well and that you are getting to visit family and friends that you have not seen for a while. Lynn says Hi to all. We had a great time on the Snow Train and in Reno. It is really nice to see the mountains and snow and not have to be driving. You can probably relate just a little. Lynn's and my travel song is "On the Road Again," so we had the fellow in the Piano Lounge on the train sing it for us. He was good. Worth the $2 tip.
