When Mom's away...

the girls will PLAY!!!

We had a long drive today (probably close to 7 1/2 hours due to an spontaneous detour through the Badlands), and didn't arrive to the campground until after dark. I set up alone outside, without my usual helpers, as it was just quicker to do it myself. This is what the girls were up to while I was working...

Tomorrow we'll sleep in, and head out to Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. Maybe a few other things as well, one never knows where the Stringer Zoo will end up!

I love those pictures, I can only imagine how much everyone was giggling.

Guess what? We are closing on our rental tomorrow and we think we may have a great idea for the proceeds. You guessed it, an RV! We will keep you posted.

I think I have told you how much Emma is looking forward to seeing Mt. Rushmore, we can't wait to see your pictures.

Good night!

You could probably sell the pix to some artsy gallery! I had a good laugh with my breakfast.

You have wonderful girls if that's all they do when Mom's away.

Oh my goodness. I kmow they are related to me. It must come from the other side of the family though. (Sorry Grandma Peggy)

Those are awesome pictures! I'm so in awe of you gals that I finally posted about your adventure on my blog. You've inspired me! We'll have to start a new line item in the budget: saving for a trailer!
Continuing to pray for safety, health, and good attitudes!
Blessings,
Angel

i just followed a link from Angel over at eeemommy. She mentioned a gal with serious MOXY. She was right. I just read all of your entries from the trip onwards.

I love fun moms. They inspire me! I'm putting you in my bloglines to keep track of your adventures. What a neat trip so far.

I learned about your adventure from EEEEmommy and I'm so glad I stopped by for a visit! I would love to do what you are doing so this is educational for me. Loved your post on Laura Ingalls' historic site - I'm a big fan of hers and want to visit all the sites someday. I'll keep you and your girls in prayer. What silly pics!
